Charles Leclerc won the British Grand Prix at the Silverstone Circuit, by 0.427s from George Russell, with Lewis Hamilton completing the podium. Kimi Antonelli had started from pole but Charles Leclerc carved through from P2. Franco Colapinto was the drive of the day, climbing 10 places from P19 to P9. It was a war of attrition: 3 of 22 cars failed to finish — among them Nico Hulkenberg, Alexander Albon, Max Verstappen.
